Michelle is a Christian clay sculptor who works with air‑dry clays, acrylics, and pastels, creating highly detailed pieces filled with character and charm. Best known for her glitter‑kissed snowmen and holiday creations, she shapes joyful little characters with chubby cheeks, bright personalities, and big, welcoming smiles that reflect the warmth and whimsy at the heart of her work. Some of her favorite embellishments are made from various fine papers, hand‑sewn clothing, wool, tinsels, tiny word banners, and other carefully selected details—and whenever possible, she incorporates vintage embellishments. She also enjoys adding glitter and, on select pieces, enhancing the finish with beautiful mica flakes to create an elegant touch.
Before becoming a sculptor, Michelle designed cloth doll patterns—especially rag dolls and, of course, snowmen. Her business name comes from those early creative years, and although she no longer creates new patterns, she chose to keep the name because of the wonderful following that grew from that chapter of her life. Many of her original patterns are still available through Dollmakers Journey at www.dollmakersjourney.com
Michelle creates with joy, gratitude, and a playful imagination, giving thanks to God for every idea that takes shape in her hands and for the creativity she has been given. She hopes her work brings smiles, nostalgia, and a little extra light to every home it enters.
Her handmade pieces are offered here in her Shop
